Skipper is an almost-black male huacaya alpaca born 2020 at Harmony Meadows. This is his cria fleece which means that it is amazingly soft and fine! We have lightly skirted this to remove a bunch of debris, but cria fleeces are notorious for the bits of hay that need to be picked out during processing. Skippers' fibre is around 5+" long though you will see variation in the leg and neck areas.
NOTE : Colours may look different onscreen vs in person. Skippers' fleece looks black until you look at it next to a true black fleece.
